People blocking my garage...What can I do?
I own a garage at the end of my road and the land 3 metres out from the doors is also my private property. As my garage is subsequent to some woods a lot of dog walkers verbs their cars off the road and onto the bay right outside my doors. Often those appear an hour or so later and wonder what all the fuss is. Erm because I obligation to get to work....
Two weeks ago I was 2 hours unpunctually for work due to someone who assumed I would already be out at 9.30 in the morning. this incident prompted me to get 2 clear signs truism 'Strictly No Parking 24 Hour Access Required'
This morning I had to attend hospital for my daily Radiotherapy and low and behold in attendance is someone parked on my recess blocking garage doors. Obviously i'm stressed enough due to day by day hospital appointments without the worry of this. I subsequently missed my appointment and I own to return to hospital this afternoon. The person with the motor has just moved out without so much as an apology. The local scrap man offered to drag the offending vechile away but i be worried if there is a law that prevents this. (UK LAW). What can I do to stop this?

To be capable of tow these cars you need a sign warning the public that you may own their car towed and you need a clearly discoloured boundary. I believe that you can't just scrap the cars; you hold to give the owners a chance to claim them. You for this reason have to give contact details for where on earth the owner can pay a ransom fee surrounded by return for their car. These are the reasons why private companies are employed to do these job. You can find a reputable one with the aid of the British Parking Association (see the link). Of course, it is illegal to get in the way of a dropped kerb and you should request one from your local council if you don't have one already.
You may find that preventatvie measures are easier. One solution that I have see to work is brick walls enclosing two sides of the garage exit with a total admission money or other obstruction fixed in front of the garage. Can you put up a chain to engrave the private drive? Add to the sign, "cars will be towed at the owners expense" then keep the number of a towing company handy.
In the states you can tow anyone who is illegally parked on your property near the assumption there's posted notice.
Call a tow truck and enjoy the cars removed at the car owners expense. Problem solved.
Calling a Towing Company and have them put the sign up where it is visible should do. That opening you just grab and bid the Towing Company. As far as my research goes as long as it's your property and they are in YOUR property they enjoy to leave due to the fact that it's considered trespassing.
Get a fully clad trolley jack. When it happens again jack the rear of the coupé up and move it out of the way.
I am not sure what it costs, but you can contract near a Tow company they will place there sign, if you have someone violate after call the Tow company, im sure the Tow company won't mind making easy money and you might start seeing smaller number inconsiderate people around your home. Good Luck!!
I don't know about the UK, but across the pond here we would have a No Parking Tow Away Zone sign put up, next call and contract with a tow company, they will install somewhat plaque underneath that sign that will give the name of the tow company and the phone number to hail as after their car is towed. I would first off advocate you not to take an immature or childish behaviour, such as damaging the cars. Rather than again consult the dog walkers, I would alert a towing company to hold it towed away from your garage.
Have some posts cemented into your ground and link them next to a lockable chain. That'll keep the offender off and you can simply unlock the chain to drive within or out. Do make sure the chains are clearly marked by flags or similar.
